Academic Highlight

In this section, I’m showcasing a couple key projects from my academic career that have been pivotal in preparing me for a future in healthcare management. I’m confident that the insights gained from these experiences will provide a strong foundation as I move forward in my career.

Hiring/Interview Process

One valuable skill I've developed during my work-study experience is the hiring process. Being on the other side of interviews and the hiring process felt like a full-circle moment for me. I also had the opportunity to learn how to conduct peer interviews, which allowed me to apply these new skills when helping to hire the next group of work-study students who followed me.

HTML

While working at Eskenazi, I was tasked with creating an HTML template to be shared with every new hire. At the time, I had no experience with HTML and didn’t fully understand what it entailed. However, I quickly learned how to build one from scratch and took full ownership of the project. Throughout the process, I worked closely with my supervisor, who provided feedback and asked me to make revisions or additions. This experience was invaluable, as it taught me the importance of attention to detail and professionalism—every element had to meet a high standard. I also realized that creating large projects like this requires time, patience, and multiple rounds of revisions. It reinforced the idea that quality work often takes longer than expected, but the process of refining and improving is crucial to producing something truly polished.
