Public Relations Plan
Two Media Exposure Ideas
1. Host an event where students can experiencehorticultural therapy firsthand
2. Collaboration with the CAPS program
To enhance media exposure for my horticultural therapy marketing plan, I would host an event where students can experience and engage with horticultural therapy firsthand. Additionally, I propose a collaboration with the CAPS program to host monthly events focused on the integration of horticultural therapy.
"These efforts will spark interest, encourage conversation, and provide students with a valuable opportunity to explore this form of therapy, helping to improve their mental and emotional well-being."
The student event would provide a hands-on opportunity for participants to learn about and try horticultural therapy, sparking conversations and generating buzz. This would not only help spread awareness of the benefits of horticultural therapy, but also encourage attendees to share
their experiences with others, further amplifying the message. Including other organizations at the event would allow them to post about the experience on their social media platforms, increasing exposure.
Collaborating with the CAPS program would offer an exciting opportunity to explore the synergy between traditional therapy and horticultural therapy. By hosting monthly events, we can create a consistent platform for students to engage with and learn about horticultural therapy.
Since CAPS is already a well-known and trusted program on campus, partnering with them would make it easier to introduce horticultural therapy to students in a comfortable way, helping them become more open to this new approach to mental and emotional health.
In conclusion, by hosting hands-on events and working with the CAPS program, we can introduce horticultural therapy to students in a way that's easy to understand and engage with. These efforts will spark interest, encourage conversation, and provide students with a valuable
opportunity to explore this form of therapy, helping to improve their mental and emotional well-being.
